Why is it that when you mark an itch .. it sometimes itches more ?

Why is it that when you mark an itch .. it sometimes itches more ?
Scratching an itch causes tiny breaks surrounded by the skin and opens it up to the upper air. People rarely mop up their hands previously scratching and the grime below the nails is transferred into the depart area.
This cause the itch to intensify.
If it is a bug bite, the bug saliva comes in contact near the air, grime, and sometimes blood from scratch making it more itchy.

When you cut into your body releases histamine which causes further irritation. That's why when you hold allergies people give somebody a lift medicines that are anti-histamines approaching benadryl to stop this natural body response which furthers agravates the allergy. It doesn't matter what cause the itching or the allergy reaction the body react the same bearing.
