Why wound not salutary as planned?

I recently have a skin tag removed from above my eyebrow. Surgeon excised the gang and used very fine stitches to close the wound. Its be six months and the wound has not fully heal. The edges of the wound have not reasonably come together completely but has enhanced slightly over the months. Is this normall? will the wound eventually end up looking similar to a fine white line which i be told it would. How long will that take? Why wound not salutary as planned?
I have two surgical procedures on xanthoma on my eyelid, real soft skin. First disappeared me with a black eye and that operation be in Hospital, oh what fun? Second I have with a Physician who have a interest in skin, did it contained by his surgery, used silk stitches and I do not even have a fine white column.
usually a wound not healing according to calendar signals another health problem close to diabetes. nee to see your regular dr. for additional test. what has the surgeon told you?
