Will i go and get cancer?

Im 13 and my mom has just now been diagnosed beside lung, liver, colon and bone cancer. I was wondering if i too will gain cancer when im older. What are the likelihood ?Will i go and get cancer?
Yes, cancer can be heriditary but that does not mean you will go and get it, you have to also look at your father genes as well as, your surroundings, culture, etc...in that are many factor that contribute to cancer.

SAY IF 45 OUT OF 50 OF YOUR RELATIVES HAD CANCER. THE ODDS OF YOU GETTING IT WOULD BE PROBABLE
BUT IF IT WAS LIKE 3 OUT OF 50 THEN IT WOULD BE REMOTE.

Cancer can run in the ancestral but that doesn't mean you will draw from it for sure. Since your family have a history of it, make sure to notify your doctor so they can keep watch on you closer.
i am sorry about your mom,but live your time to the fullest. You are much too young to be worrying in the order of what may or may not happen. Worry just brings on anxiety. GOOD luck!
