Why is my husband's donor site still hurting, oozing and bleeding?

My husband saw his DR 4 days after having askingraft on his scalp for a basal cell skin cancer. The DR removed the dressings and said both the graft and the donor site looked really good. The donor site have been oozing and have been stinging. The Dr said that was mundane and told him to use telfa pads after running soap and hose over it while he showers and to leave the pad off as much as possible. He have to remove the pad within the shower and the area is still bleeding and oozing as ably as burning. He can't take the wipe off between showers as it is stuck to his skin.He tried another type of wad with alike result. The pad other has blood and pus on it and he say it burns. It is not swelled or red around it but it looks rough ,red and yellow. He have an appt.in 2 weeks.Does he want to call his DR previously that or is this normal? The graft is fine but the DR told him the graft would look and perceive better each morning. It doesn't seem to be doing that.He worries give or take a few infection. Why is my husband's donor site still hurting, oozing and bleeding?
I work here in clinic and usually that way it's infected. Which I'm pretty sure is what's happening... Go ahead and own him seen previously the infection progresses. =] They'll most likely lately give him some sort of antibiotic.
Call the doctor. You should not be seeing blood.
thats an infection, capture to the DOCTOR!
If the dr is not going at this problem on a more aggresive level, turn right away to a wound care center. They are excellent, I hold needed one several times. Good luck.
