Why is our phlegm and mucus green surrounded by colour?
You say 'our', when I assume you expect 'your'.
'Normal'mucous is white or clear. Mucous can be coloured green either by infection, or more commonly due to virido-pyroxidase. This is the substance which enter mucous from eosinophils ( one type of white blood cell ) when they are activated.
Because it's an infection. It must be treated near antibiotics.
Mine is more of an off green or fluorescent wan, so please don't include me in your exclusive "our phlegm and mucus" group.
if its green you own an infection
