About spinal tap what adjectives do they look for?

What if any medication become prersent when u look at the fluid that is thken out. i kow how they are done and most times why but i can't find any point if any types of medicantion will show up in the resultsAbout spinal tap what adjectives do they look for?
Medication is not looked for. The pressure, colour and appearanc is see. Biochemistry is done to look for protein, sugar and chloride. On microscopy, white and red blood cells are see and counted. Gram staing and culture and sensitivity test is done for germs. Latex particle agglutination testing is also done for early ID of the infecting organism.
like various things, it depends on what the dr. is looking for. You can test it for both microbes and viruses. This is one passageway to test for bacterial menengitis. Some drugs will show up surrounded by blood or urine, etc. Spinal fluid is just another source and might or might not provide indication that medication/drugs/bacteria/etc. hold been present.
The best overnight case would be to either ask your physician or to start next to the medication and then ask a pharmacist.
